Argonaut served as Financial Advisor to the $7 million re-commissioning of the Albany Wood Pellet Plant in 2017  by Renewable Heat & Power Limited. Renewable Heat & Power Limited is Australia’s leading manufacturer and exporter of clean and renewable energy.  Together with Engie Energy Management, a French multinational electrical utility which 40% is owned by the French Government, Renewable Heat & Power Limited acquired the Albany Wood Pellet Plant from Plantation Energy in 2017 to resume operations after halting activities in 2012.

The Renewable Heat & Power Limited Management and Argonaut, recognised the opportunity associated with the lower Australian dollar and the increased demand for renewable energy worldwide to pursue this recapitalisation venture. Wood pellets are used as a replacement for coal in power plants in Europe, Korea and Japan.
