Argonaut is a leading full service advisory, stockbroking & research and investment house with offices in Perth. We provide a comprehensive range of services in corporate advisory, mergers & acquisitions, equity & debt capital markets, stockbroking, research and special situations financing. Argonaut is technically driven & focused on Metals & Mining, Energy, Agribusiness, Decarbonisation Businesses and Contractors that service the natural resource sector and select Industrial companies. Argonaut has an established track record of creating significant wealth for clients.
Argonaut Graduate Program candidates are honours or high achieving bachelor degree students in Commerce, Economics, Engineering, Geology, Law, Mathematical Science or similar disciplines who are passionate about the commerce arena. You will need to be highly numerate, positive, energetic and a team player who displays initiative and has well developed communication and people skills.
Within our Corporate Advisory Team you will develop competence in financial modelling, business analysis, valuation, pitch preparation and industry and company research. You will be an active team member in the presentation and marketing of concepts to clients and have the opportunity to rotate through the various Argonaut divisions. You will have the rare opportunity to learn about investment banking from the ground up.
Within our Stockbroking Team you will gain hands-on experience & develop your analytical & communications skills. You will acquire extensive market knowledge and the skills to provide considered advice to clients. You will have the opportunity to learn, observe and gain practical experience from some of the industry’s leading Institutional Dealers and Corporate and Private Client Advisers.
Within our highly rated research team you will prepare research on a range of companies in the Metals & Mining, Energy, Agribusiness, Resource Services, Technology and select Industrial sectors. This will entail site visits, analysis of all key aspects of a company’s operations and the development of sophisticated financial models. You will also assist the Corporate Advisory Team in deal evaluation and provide stock recommendations for our extensive client base.
Argonaut accepts applications for graduate positions at any time with a closing date of 15th April annually for the following years intake. Interviews for short listed applicants occur in April / May with successful candidates being offered employment with a commencement date generally in the December to February period.
