Key News Overnight:
Spot gold dipped 0.7% to US$1,957.20/oz, set to break its longest winning streak since December 2017. U.S. gold futures closed 0.6% lower at US$1,942.30/oz.
Brent crude futures, which expire on Friday, settled 81 US cents lower at US$42.94 per barrel.
Apple announced overnight that they hold US$193.817 billion cash on hand.
